Hernando HVAC (https://hernandohvac.com) is a dispatch resource that connects homeowners in Hernando, Citrus, and Pasco Counties, Florida with licensed local HVAC contractors. This policy describes the limited information we collect and how it is used.
Information we collect
When you call our dispatch line or submit the callback form, we collect:
- Your name, phone number, and ZIP code
- The nature of your HVAC issue and preferred callback window
- Any optional notes you provide
- Call metadata (date, time, duration) via our call-tracking system
Call recording notice (Florida)
Florida is a two-party consent state under Section 934.03, Florida Statutes. Calls placed to our dispatch line may be recorded for quality, training, and dispatch verification purposes. By continuing the call, you consent to this recording. If you do not consent, please notify the operator immediately so the call can be transferred to a non-recorded line or terminated.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to:
- Connect you with a licensed local HVAC contractor to fulfill your request
- Follow up on the status of your service request
- Improve our dispatch and service experience
Sharing with licensed contractor partners
Your name, contact information, ZIP code, and the nature of your request will be shared with the licensed HVAC contractor partner we dispatch to fulfill your service request. By submitting the callback form or calling our dispatch line, you consent to this sharing for the purpose of providing HVAC service.
Consent to contact (SMS, calls, email)
By submitting the callback form, you authorize Hernando HVAC and the dispatched partner contractor to contact you at the phone number you provided — including by SMS text message, voice call, and email — regarding your service request. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may opt out at any time by replying STOP to any SMS or notifying the contractor or our dispatch line.
We do not sell your information
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. Sharing is limited to the licensed contractor partner fulfilling your request and any service providers (call-tracking, email delivery) acting under contract on our behalf.
Data retention
We retain dispatch records and call recordings for up to 24 months for quality and dispute-resolution purposes. You may request earlier deletion by emailing service@hernandohvac.com.
Your rights
You may request access to or deletion of the personal information we hold about you by emailing service@hernandohvac.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Children's privacy
Our services are directed to homeowners. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
